Meet Sandra

Owner and Founder of Paperweight PA and your dedicated Virtual Personal Assistant based in Luxembourg

Hi,

I’m Sandra Storoni the owner and founder of Paperweight PA, a Virtual Personal Assistant based in Luxembourg.  However, that doesn’t mean I’m a robot or a ‘bot’. To reassure you on this, let me introduce myself!

I was born and grew up in Scotland, then spent many years in France while working in Travel, before finally deciding to unpack my suitcase and settle in Luxembourg.

After 11 years as a busy Executive Assistant/Office Manager, I was growing tired of the bureaucracy of a large company. I started to look for options to be able to continue the career I love, whilst having more autonomy and flexibility in the way I worked.

When the company that I was working for closed it’s Luxembourg operations in 2016, redundancy was the opportunity (along with some extra financial support) to be able to turn this idea into a reality.

Vision & Values

I launched Paperweight PA in March 2018.  My vision is to support and help others to grow their businesses. I want to give people back time to focus on what they do best and also be able to enjoy a little more free time too.

I was brought up to work hard, be honest and trustworthy. These are values that I still live by today, along with integrity and reliability.  Like most good PA’s / VA’s, I am very focused on meeting deadlines, as well as paying attention to detail. Okay, I’ll confess to being a bit of a perfectionist!  And I just love organising!

Skills, Experience and my other Passions!

In my last role, I provided a full range of typical PA support at Senior Management level. I also arranged events and organised the group’s Board meetings, as well as being responsible for all HR related matters and managing the office facilities.

During my 20 years in the Travel Industry, as well as travelling extensively in Europe, I supervised teams and developed excellent customer services skills. Throughout all of my career, I have gained valuable experience in research, purchasing, contracting and negotiating.

In addition to having mother tongue English (with a soft Scottish accent!), I have a high level of French, a basic knowledge of German and am currently learning Luxembourgish.

When not organising I love to travel, eat out, walk and cycle in the beautiful Luxembourg countryside and my other big passion is photography.

So now over to You!

If you are a Coach, Consultant or Small Business Owner who would like help with all things administrative, then don’t hesitate to contact me to find out more about the services Paperweight PA has to offer.  And although I’m a Virtual Personal Assistant based in Luxembourg, I work remotely, so can support businesses across the globe.  I very much look forward to hearing from you!

“I have known Sandra for over 11 years during which time she was the Executive Assistant/Office Manager for De Beers, a leading diamond company. Sandra’s organisation skills are second to none. Managing an office, organising Board meetings and arranging senior executive travel and their diaries was always done professionally, with due care and compassion. From a personal perspective Sandra assisted my family to relocate from South Africa to Luxembourg. Her personal service and attention to detail was outstanding and certainly made a very stressful event a lot easier on the entire family.

There is no doubt that Sandra’s vast experience stands her in good stead with her new venture in providing VA support services. Her ability to speak several languages is also a great asset in a multinational business environment.  I personally use Paperweight PA in my new consulting business and would strongly recommend Sandra and her team to anyone else. They are flexible, quick, well organised and provide great customer service.  Sandra is an absolute pleasure to work with.” Bernard Olivier
