Owner and Founder of Paperweight PA and your dedicated Virtual Personal Assistant based in Luxembourg
Hi,I’m Sandra Storoni the owner and founder of Paperweight PA, a Virtual Personal Assistant based in Luxembourg. However, that doesn’t mean I’m a robot or a ‘bot’. To reassure you on this, let me introduce myself! I was born and grew up in Scotland, then spent many years in France while working in Travel, before finally deciding to unpack my suitcase and settle in Luxembourg. After 11 years as a busy Executive Assistant/Office Manager, I was growing tired of the bureaucracy of a large company. I started to look for options to be able to continue the career I love, whilst having more autonomy and flexibility in the way I worked. When the company that I was working for closed it’s Luxembourg operations in 2016, redundancy was the opportunity (along with some extra financial support) to be able to turn this idea into a reality.
Vision & ValuesI launched Paperweight PA in March 2018. My vision is to support and help others to grow their businesses. I want to give people back time to focus on what they do best and also be able to enjoy a little more free time too. I was brought up to work hard, be honest and trustworthy. These are values that I still live by today, along with integrity and reliability. Like most good PA’s / VA’s, I am very focused on meeting deadlines, as well as paying attention to detail. Okay, I’ll confess to being a bit of a perfectionist! And I just love organising!
Skills, Experience and my other Passions! In my last role, I provided a full range of typical PA support at Senior Management level. I also arranged events and organised the group’s Board meetings, as well as being responsible for all HR related matters and managing the office facilities. During my 20 years in the Travel Industry, as well as travelling extensively in Europe, I supervised teams and developed excellent customer services skills. Throughout all of my career, I have gained valuable experience in research, purchasing, contracting and negotiating. In addition to having mother tongue English (with a soft Scottish accent!), I have a high level of French, a basic knowledge of German and am currently learning Luxembourgish. When not organising I love to travel, eat out, walk and cycle in the beautiful Luxembourg countryside and my other big passion is photography.
So now over to You!If you are a Coach, Consultant or Small Business Owner who would like help with all things administrative, then don’t hesitate to contact me to find out more about the services Paperweight PA has to offer. And although I’m a Virtual Personal Assistant based in Luxembourg, I work remotely, so can support businesses across the globe. I very much look forward to hearing from you!
“I engaged Sandra to help with some admin work that was getting on top of me while running a busy one-person consultancy. Sandra’s no-nonsense pragmatic style helped not only to work through the backlog, but to simplify my processes to help me keep organised. I recommend her highly.”
“I met Sandra through the dynamic IMA network. I have used services of Paperweight PA Virtual Personal Assistant providing PA/Administrative support on a flexible basis to Small Businesses and Individuals. The result was very positive. Sandra is real passionate and professional person and she has a great vision for her work. She makes sure that all the deadlines are met and that each project she is working on meets the highest standards. Sandra is really conscientious and trustworthy. It’s a pleasure to work with her. Everyone should have Sandra in its contacts book! OG“I
“When I tell people I engaged Sandra’s virtual / personal assistant services I add that “it is the best money I’ve ever spent on my business.” Sandra is the epitome of professional. She sees something that she could do to help me and she offers to do it. She communicates clearly and concisely. She helps in crisis situations (rescheduling my clients when I was very ill and again when I had a death in the family). She is detail-oriented and she helps me stay organized. She is creative and resourceful. She researches options to help streamline routine tasks. It doesn’t matter that she’s in Europe and I am in the United States. She communicates in a timely manner and responds with answers, completed tasks, or asks for more information. When there is a deadline, she meets it.
Entrepreneurs working from home or a small office on their own often feel like they can’t afford to spend money on VA services. If you fall into that category, if you think you shouldn’t pay someone to do something that you can do (like put your logo on a document and create letterhead and business cards or file your own email), then ask yourself what part of your business is suffering because you are slogging through admin tasks. Are you creating? Are you networking? Are you developing relationships? Are you meeting with clients? Are you planning next year’s growth or creating new offerings? Or, if you are doing that, which admin tasks are not getting done?
Engaging Sandra’s services freed me up to meet with more clients, streamline my onboarding process and worry less overall. I highly recommend you chat with her about how she might also be able to help you.”
“I needed help with reconciling expenditure – there were 1000s of receipts/invoices across 4 cards/bank transfers/cash payments, and every continent and as many currencies you can think of. I didn’t have the time or inclination to sort through a years’ worth of receipts and put them in chronological order so I asked Sandra for help. She is so organised, and managed to turn it all round in good time. I really appreciated her help! Thanks Sandra 🙂”
